23 L students to appear offline for NEET UG

The exam will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at various examination centers across the country. This year, around 23 lakh students will appear for approximately 2.30 lakh medical seats. Pens will be provided at the examination centers. No candidate will be allowed to enter the center after the stipulated time.

As per the estimated seat distribution, there are 1,29,453 MBBS seats, 27,926 BDS seats, and 69,303 seats for AYUSH and Nursing courses. Important instructions for candidates include carrying the admit card and a valid ID proof, bringing a passport-size photograph, following the prescribed dress code, filling the OMR sheet carefully, and avoiding overwriting.

Dr. Atul Ingole advised students to carefully read all instructions before the exam and fill the OMR sheet correctly. He emphasised the importance of time management and staying calm during the examination. He also advised candidates to check the OMR sheet properly on the exam day, avoid making incorrect corrections, and submit all required documents after the exam.
