Nagpur, April 30

The number of patients who recovered from corona in the district stood at 7,294, while 6,461 new positive cases were detected. From the last few days, recovery is more than the affected.

However, the death toll remained high and 88 deaths were reported in the district. Out of the 6,461 new infected 3,649 were from city, while rest of them from rural. The number of cured patients stood at 7,294. This included 4,847 people in the city. 39 people died each in city and rural and 10 were from outside the district.

So far, a total of 4,07,787 infected and 7,388 deaths have been reported in the district. On Friday, 22,876 suspects were tested. This included 18,285 people in the city.

Infection more in rural areas

In rural areas, 4,591 people were tested on Friday. Out of which 2,802 were found positive. The death toll was the same as in the city. People are terrified in rural areas.

76,000 active patients

There are 76,706 active patients in the district. This includes 44,913 people in city and 31,793 people in rural areas. There are 15,370 patients in government and private hospitals, while 61,336 patients are in home isolation.
