The government has undertaken ‘My Family, My Responsibility’ initiative to control the Covid-19 pandemic in the district. During the survey undertaken by the district administration it was found that there are 77,662 patients (who have comorbidity) conditions. The survey which will be undertaken in two phases, has completed the first phase and the second phase is also in the last leg. Under the ‘My Family, My Responsibility’ initiative people residing in urban and rural areas, slums are being contacted individually and details about their health conditions are being sought. They are being counseled, if they have serious disease. One team is reaching out to around 50 house holds and are inquiring about their heart conditions, blood pressure, diabetes, asthma, TB et al.

Hypertension - 4,005

Kidney related issues - 972

Liver related issues - 486

Other diseases - 44,709
