In the match played at the SECR Ground, Motibagh, Bilal Sheikh (2nd, 27th minute) and player of the match Akbar Siddiqui (5th, 24th minute) scored two goals each, playing a crucial role in the team’s win. Arniban Pal (60th minute) and Zahid Akhtar (67th minute) added one goal each for the team.

In another match, AG Gujarat and AG Madhya Pradesh played out an exciting 3–3 draw.

Earlier, the tournament was inaugurated by Deepak Kumar Gupta (IRPS), Divisional Railway Manager, South East Central Railway (SECR), Nagpur, by kicking off the football and releasing balloons. Dattaprasad Shirsat extended his best wishes to all the teams. During the programme, the chief guest was introduced to the players, selectors, and referees of all teams. Senior Accounts Officers Neena Verma, Shweta Gade, Priyanka Goswami, and Naina Issar, along with Bhavika Joshi Lathe, Dr. Bhushan Bhirud, and a large number of officers and staff were present on the occasion.
