The foundation stone laying ceremony of the ground being built for this tournament was held on Wednesday. Former mayor Sandip Joshi and former MLC Girish Vyas graced the occasion.

On this occasion, the president of the organisation Shrikant Duchakke, coordinators Bhushan Keskar and Sanjay Pawnikar were present. Speaking on the occasion, former mayor Joshi asked the party workers to make meticulous planning for the best possible competition, while former MLA Girish Vyas emphasized the importance of providing the players with the best quality facilities.

Bhushan Keskar assured the attendees that this competition, which includes renowned kabaddi players from all over the country, would be conducted in a very orderly manner.
