Vishwaditya on his way to title of Rapid Selection event scored 7 .5 points. Dishank Bajaj scored 7 points to get the second position in rapid event. Ayush Ramteke scored 6.5 points to finish 3rd in merit list.

In the blitz selection chess Championship, it was Dishansh Bajaj all the way as he scored 7.5 points out of 8 to finish a clear first. As many as 5 players namely Vishwaditya Awasthi, Mohak Bhagchandani, Ayush Ramteke, Sumedh Ramteke and Rushikesh Lohit scored 6 points in blitz section to finish from 2nd to 6th position respectively based on their tie break scores.

Vishwaditya Awasthi and Dishank Bajaj will represent Nagpur district in the Maharashtra State Rapid Chess Championship to be held later this year. Dishank Bajaj and Vishwaditya Awasthi were selected to represent Nagpur district in the Maharashtra State Blitz Chess Championship to be held later this year.

The prizes were distributed at the hands of Director, MKH Sancheti Public School Amit Yenurkar. CAN secretary Bhushan Shriwas, and chief arbitr FA Shiva Iyer were seated on the dias. Shri S.S. Soman compered the proceedings and proposed the vote of thanks. The winner of rapid and blitz events received Rs.3000 each as cash prize sponsored by MKH Sancheti Group whereas the runners up got cash prize of Rs. 2000 each. Top five finishers were awarded trophies whereas the players finishing from 6th to 10th place were awarded medals in the championship apart from cash prizes. In addition to the main prizes, age group prizes were also distributed to top finishers in Under-7,9,11,13 and 15 group.

Chief Arbiter FA Shiva Iyer was assisted by SNA Shyam Agrawal, SNA Prayas Amabde, SNA Akash Rewatkar and Prathamesh Machave.
