After conceding a narrow 11-run first innings lead to VMV CC, All India Reporter dismissed their opponents for 219 in the second innings and needed 231 runs for victory.

They were well on course with captain Kshitiz Dahiya and Danish Malewar adding 74 runs in good time. Dahiya fell for 54 but Malewar was unbeaten on 60 when bad light intervened and prevented any further play. The match ended in a draw but VMV won on the basis of first innings lead.
