Addressing a press conference in the mandir premises here on Saturday, pradhan vaidya Ramesh Sharma said, Shri Badiyanath Ayurved Bhavan has been participating in the shobha yatra right from the first yatra taken out in 1967, 59 years ago. It presented various attractive floats every time depicting mythological scenes and gained popularity among the citizens because of its beautiful presentation. The viewers curiously wait for the Baidyanath float to pass through. However, the shobha yatra was not taken out during corona pandemic time in the city, he added.

Noted artist Dipak Sharad Ingle prepared the idol this year in Manewada. His father used to prepare the idols previously like Shri Laxmi Narayan Darshan, Tirupati Balaji Darshan, Shri Nrisinhavatar, Bhagwan Shiv Vish Paan, Bhagwan Vishnu Matsyavatar etc.

Pramod Lute, Rajendra Bulbule, Shyam Khadatkar, Rajendra Sharma and others were present at the press conference.
