One youth was murdered in clash between two groups. The incident took place in Goa Colony under Sadar police station on Thursday night. The deceased has been identified as Gulshan Gopal Kanojia, a resident of Azad Square, Dhobipura.

Cable operator Gulshan, his friend Asif Qureshi and his brother Bunti Qureshi had dispute with accused Karan Madavi, Sohail Ali and Ansul Singh on Thursday. During the dispute, they had threatened each other. To end the dispute, Gulshan along with his friends went to Goa Colony on Thursday night at 10.20 pm. The accused were ready to counter them. They thought Gulshan came there with an aim to attack them. The accused Karan Madavi, Sohail Ali, Anshul Singh and their friends cordoned off Gulshan and attacked Gulshan with knife and iron rods. Gulshan died on the spot. The incident created tension in the area. Some local residents also chased the accused and caught hold one. The local residents also beat up him. Later all of them reached Sadar police station. After getting the information, police reached the spot. On the complaint of Rohit Kanojia police registered a case and arrested three persons.

It has been more than 20 hours since the incident, despite this, the information was not being given by the police station. The phone number of the investigating officer of the case was also not given at 8 pm.
