Sadar police have registered a case against former guardian minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule, MP Vikas Mahatme, MLC Girish Vyas and others for burning the government ordinance against the Farm Act. The central government has approved the Farm Bills but state government does not want to implement it. The state government has issued an ordinance against this bill. BJP has launched agitation against the ordinance.

On Wednesday noon, former guardian minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule, Rajya Sabha member Vikas Mahtme, MLC Girish Vyas, Ajay Sapasnarayn Agrawal, Juni Kamptee, Ajay Raghunath Bondare, Renuka Mata Nagar, Hudkeshwar, Keshav Sudam Bondare, Duttwadi, Arvind Janarao Gajbhiey, Laxmi Nagar and 10 more BJP workers gathered before the district collector office without permission. They burnt the copy of the ordinance of the state government. There is ban on demonstration without permission due to Covid infection. Despite knowing this BJP leaders and gathered before the district collector office. On this basis, Sadar police haw registered a case.
