After winning the toss, Citi Gymkhana opted to field first-a decision that proved crucial in shaping the outcome of the match. SB City SB City Strikers posted a competitive total of 125/7 in their allotted 100 balls. Vikram Batra played a quickfire knock of 28 runs off 14 balls, showcasing aggressive stroke play. Kranti Pawar added 23 runs, while Punit Kohli chipped in with 20 runs at the top. Late contributions from the lower order helped push the score past 120.

For Citi Gymkhana Chandrashekhar Atram was the pick of the bowlers with two wickets for 25 runs. Sandeep Singh, Adwait Manohar, and Anup Fulper claimed one wicket each, keeping the scoring in check.

In response, Citi Gymkhana Cricket Club chased down the target comfortably in just 92 balls, losing only three wickets. Anup N. Fulper anchored the innings brilliantly with an unbeaten 62 off 45 balls, displaying composure and class under pressure.

Shalabh Shrivastava provided strong support with a quick 30 off 18 balls, including two towering sixes. Rupesh Bhaik contributed a valuable 27 off 17 balls, ensuring the chase stayed on track.

Despite an early setback with captain Adwait Manohar departing cheaply, the middle order steadied the innings and guided the team home with ease.

VCA president Justice Vinay Deshpande, Former Judge of Bombay High Court was the chief guest of prize distribution function. VCAsecretary Sanjay Badkas, president of Vidarbha Veterans Cricket Association Mr. Suhas Phadkar also graced the occasion.

Captain Vivek Naidu and team received the winner’s trophy along with a cash prize of ₹ 1,01,000.
