As many as seven city arbiters attended the online refresher course organised by All India Chess Federation(AICF) recently

. The refresher course is mandatory for all arbiter who wish to work in FIDE rating tournament from April 2021 to March 2022.

International arbiters & FIDE lecturers, Anantharam R of Tamil Nadu, Dharmendra Kumar of Bihar (Chairman, Arbiters Commission AICF) and MS Gopakumar of New Delhi were chief lecturers for this refresher seminar. IA Swapnil Bansod was the only assistant lecturer for this refresher seminar. Total 400 arbiters including (International Arbiters, FIDE Arbiters and National Arbiters) took part in this refresher seminar from all over India.

In this seminar various topics on game of chess such as The FIDE including laws of chess, title regulations, FIDE rating, general regulations for competitions. online chess regulation and Role of Arbiters. Offline and Hybrid online format which is a new system inducted by FIDE to overcome and run the game of chess on online format.

From the city of Nagpur three International Arbiters including Pravin Pantawane, Anurag Singh and Deepak Chavan, and three national arbiter Shital Panbude, Swati Kumbhalkar and Amit Tembhurne attended their respective online seminars in different batches for international arbiters and national arbiters. FIDE Arbiter Umesh Panbude, has attended the FIDE arbiter online refresher course on Saturday.
