For its outstanding efforts made in the field of global education, G H Raisoni Vidyaniketan ( CBSE) was received the International Dimension in School Award (IDSA) from British Council for the year 2020- 2023
This International School Award journey provided the students a platform to learn new ways to develop and embed international perspective in the school. The ISA provided a platform to the students of G H Raisoni Vidyaniketan to peep into the culture and heritage of the world. The students had collaborated with partner schools of different countries like Tanzania and Nepal.
Technology helped the students to communicate with their counterparts of Mont fort School Tanzania and Delhi Public school Nepal thus contributing a valuable international dimension to their activities.
The aim to foster a spirit of universal brotherhood by understanding each other’s cultures and differences and thereby becoming global citizens was fulfilled when the students composed a Global Anthem by taking the essence of various National Anthems of the World. This anthem was mailed the UN office.
The award was exhibited at a virtual platform because of Covid safety protocol.
The director -pPrincipal of GH Raisoni Vidyaniketan Jayshree Bhake and vice Principal Gracy Anthony congratulated the ISA Coordinator Sohini Das and the Captains of the activities Noopur Jadav , Mrs Vandana Chinchalkar , Harsha Sakharkar , Deepali Nighot , Geeta Munje , Radha Nair for their tireless effort to bring laurel to the School.
Technical support from Manish Meshram added the vibrant colours to the presentation of the project which was greatly appreciated by the British Council.
The Chairman of Raisoni group of Institutions Sunil GRaisoni extended his support to make Vidyaniketan a global place of learning and congratulated the Principal and the staff for taking great efforts to make the school a field of Global education.
