The series will start with the opening Test in Nagpur from January 21 followed by Chennai (January 29-February 2) with the third Test in Guwahati from February 11 to 15. It can be noted here that the last time in February 2023, the VCA Jamtha Stadium hosted the first Test between the same two team in which India won by an innings and 132 runs. The first Test match at Jamtha Stadium was played in November 2008 between India and Australia. Played from November 6 to 10, India won that match by 172 runs.
