So far in group 'C' both Vidarbha and Karnataka have eight points to their credit after two matches each. Tamil Nadu and Himachal have four each to their kitty whereas Delhi and Meghalaya are yet to open their account.

Everything is going in Vidarbha's favour so far and back to back victories have enhanced their confidence. Naturally they start favourites against Himachal. In the tournament opener they drubbed minnows Meghalaya by huge margin of 146 runs and then continuing winning streak, Vidarbha recorded an easy 53 run victory over Tamil Nadu . Vidarbha opening batswoman Bharti Fulmali who was also selected in the indian squad is in great form. She played an important role in Vidarbha's victory over Tanuil Nadu. Unfortunately she missed the century by six runs. So far she has scored 166 runs in two matches with an average of 83.00. Vaishnavi Khandkar too has delivered her best. In the opening match, she scored spectacular half century but then against Tamil Nadu she flopped with bat. However she made amend by taking four important wickets and guiding Vidarbha into victory. Experienced batswoman Disha Kasat's form is a cause of concern for the team management. She has scored just three runs in two matches. Skipper Komal Zanad has so far not delivered her best. She finished wickedness against Tamil Nadu and got only one wicket against Meghalaya. However young Krutika Pophali has impressed one and all by playing a brilliant knock of 46 runs against Tamil Nadu.

As far as Himachal are concerned, they will to enter the field with lot of confidence. After losing their opening match against Tamil Nadu by 94 runs they bounded back and defeated Delhi by 10 runs. Shivani Singh who played a century knock (116) against Delhi is in good form. All in all both the teams are confident as they have victories under their belts.
