This was not just a physical challenge but a battle of discipline and mindset, with no room for excuses or shortcuts—only pure determination. Remarkably, Deshmukh completed his 250.5 km target in just 22 sessions, finishing with an impressive time of 35 hours, 55 minutes, and 00 seconds.

Earlier, he had accomplished another extraordinary feat—a 54 km wellness walk from Salalah to Mughsayl in honor of the 54th National Day of the Sultanate of Oman. He completed this challenge in an impressive 8 hours, 8 minutes, and 9 seconds, making him the first expatriate in Salalah to achieve this remarkable milestone. Additionally, he completed another impressive walk, covering 28.02 km to Taqah in a time of 3 hours, 54 minutes, and 57 seconds. These feats are a testament to his relentless commitment to fitness, inspiring the next generation.

. Deshmukh’s achievements extend beyond walking. At the 45th Maharashtra State Inter-District Masters Athletic Championship held in Nagpur in December 2024, he competed in the 55 age category and clinched a Gold medal in the 4x100m relay, a Silver medal in the 5 km walk, and a Silver in the High Jump.

His unshakable dedication and willpower during these physically demanding challenges have made him a source of pride for the residents of Salalah.
