Dr Patil president, Dr Jahagirdar secretary

The installation ceremony of Central India Association of Plastic Surgeons was held recently and head of Plastic Surgery Department, (GMCH) Dr Surendra Patil have been elected as president, while Dr Sameer Jahagirdar has been appointed as secretary. Speaking on the occasion, Dr Patil highlighted the role of plastic surgery in treatment mucormycosis. He also informed about the various programmes to be undertaken during their tenure in 2021-22. Immediate past president Dr Sudhanshu Kothe complimented the new team and ex-secretary Dr Darshan Rewanwar informed about the activities of the association conducted last year. The other members of the new team are Dr Darshan Rewanwar vice president, treasures Dr Suresh Chawre, Immediate past president Dr Sudhanshu Kothe, executive member Dr Manisha Jade, Dr Dhananjay Nakade, Dr Parikshit Janai, Dr Amol Patel and Dr Tarun Deshbhratar. Dr Jahagirdar proposed a vote of thanks at the end.
