With nothing to lose, Navniketan CC openers Faiz (120, 104b, 4x5, 6x5) and Ahuja (155, 111b, 4x9, 6x7) came out firing on all cylinders. The duo added 287 runs in 34.1 overs in a match-winning partnership. Even though both fell towards the end, Alok Wadkar (38*) and Vedant Dighade (7*) saw them home with 9 balls to spare.

In another match at the WCL ground, MRCC won on first innings lead against Ruby Colts after a tame draw.
