The farmers having farms adjoining to forest are facing huge losses due to wild boars compared to other animals. Wild boars are destroying the ready crop compared to other wild animals. Moreover the farmers also face a threat from wild animals while working in the farm.

The forest department does not have any complaint registered with them of attack by tiger or leopard on humans in the last five years. But during this tenure, wild boars, blue bull and wolfs have attacked humans. The forest department has to compensate villagers and farmers to the tune of `89 lakhs. In last five years between 2015 to November 2020 there have been attacks on human by these animals in Ramtek, Parsoeni, South Umred, Seminary Hills and Narkhed adjoining to forest area. The maximum damage has been caused by wild boars, barring two incidents were blue bull and wolf attacked humans.
