Yavatmal innings lacked momentum and partnerships. Vedant Dighade (20), Jagjot Sasan (23) and Shree Choudhary (26) all got starts but failed to carry on.

A brief thunderstorm and light rain held up Gondia’s chase and revised their target to 109 in 15 overs. Adhyayan Daga (22) and Sanjay Ramaswamy added 52 runs in 4.2 overs to set the tone of the innings. Ramaswamy, who remained unbeaten on 55, saw his team home in the company of Kush Khandelwal (27 not out) in 11.4 overs.
