Nagpur, April 8

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) opposed the strict restrictions imposed by the Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) as per the directions of the state government.

The government has not done any planning and preparation, even though they were aware that second corona wave can be bigger and devastating and now people are dying.

BJP demanded that the government should be charged with culpable homicide. Despite the restrictions on gathering, more than five BJP leaders gathered at the Samvidhan Square. They protested with black masks over their faces and placards.

BJP state general secretary Chandrasekhar Bawankule, city president MLA Praveen Datke and village president Arvind Gajbhiye were present on the occasion.

The number supporters were less than ten and they opposed the government with placards in their hands.

The government has imposed a complete ‘lockdown’ under the name ‘mini Lockdown’, which has lead to financial hardship for the people. BJP party workers demanded some relaxation in the lockdown, so that people can get some relief.
