Earlier, similar tournaments were hosted at Nagpur by NDHTA in 2022 and 2024. ITF has sent Sheetal Iyer, Gold Badge referee, as tournament supervisor and she will be responsible for the conduct of the tournament. This prestigious tournament (W15 Nagpur) with prize money of USD 15000 will be played over eight days starting with the qualifying draw on Sunday 22nd March. The main draw will begin on March 24 and the finals will be held on March 29. There are players coming from various countries like Kazakhstan, Russia, Denmark, Netherlands, Uzbekistan, Great Britain, Malaysia, Nepal, Canada and the largest contingent is from India.

The top seed is Miss Zhibek Kulambayeva from Kazakhstan (WTA Rank 388). In the top five, there are two Indian girls Srivalli and Zeel Desai (WTA Rank 520 and 627 respectively) along with two Russian girls.

NDHTA team has been working hard for the last one month to get the venue ready. The clay courts have been newly laid and players will enjoy playing on the surface. The winner will get the prize money of USD 2352 and the runner up will receive USD 1470. All other players of the main draw will receive a share of the prize money.
