In the men’s singles final, Jaiswal rallied brilliantly to beat Tanmay Gawande. After losing the first game 19- 21, Jaiswal regaind his form and levelled the score taking the second game 21-18.

The decider went down the wire with Gawande giving a tough fight to Jaiswal. In the end it was

Jaiswal who took it 23-21 in a 48- minute encounter. The women’s final too stretched to three games with Sejal Thadani rallying well to beat Sneha Sahasrabuddhe 13-21, 21-19, 21-16.

The men’s doubles final Aayush Durgpurohit and Ameya Joshi beat the duo of Sushil Dhole and Vivek Nagare 21-13, 21-17.

Anvi Dongarkar quelled the challenge from Sejal Thadani 21- 18, 21-10 to lay her hands on

Under-17 girls single title. Similarly,Sahil Bhakre beat Harsh Bhure 21-14,21-08 to lift the boys

singles trophy. Director, GH Raisoni Sports and Cultural Foundation Dr Mrinalini Naik gave away the prizes. NDBA joint secretary BhavanaAgrey, coaching secretary Madhavi Hedaoo, EC members Gurdeep Singh Arora, Neha Gosavi, tournament referee Gaurav Narnaware were also

present on the occasion.
