With the objective of promoting the sport of kabaddi and providing a platform for players across Maharashtra, the tournament is being organised from April 30 to May 4 under the initiative of chief minister Devendra Fadnavis and revenue minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule.
The championship will feature 16 women’s teams and 16 men’s teams from across the state. To ensure public awareness about the event, this promotional chariot will travel across the city.
On this occasion Hathibed appreciated the efforts behind organising the tournament and extended her best wishes for its success.
Also present were Nagpur Rural Kabaddi Association president Sanket Bawankule, District Sports Officer Pallavi Dhatrak, NMC Sports Officer Piyush Ambulkar, Chetan Khadse, Adarsh Patle, Ashish Futane, Brahma Kale, along with other office bearers and kabaddi enthusiasts.
