Vice chairman and managing director of MADC Deepak Kapoor visited
MIHAN on Thursday and took detailed review of development works of several prominent companies in MIHAN including Air India MRO, Dassault Reliance Aerospace Limited, Patanjali Mega Food Park and Future Supply Chain. He directed the Patanjali officials to start the production by December 2021 and assured all cooperation. He underlined the importance of Patanjali Mega Food Park for Mihan as well as Vidarbha.
At Air India MRO general manager Satya Veer Singh, briefed Kapoor about the state of the art MRO facilities of Air India. He also visited DRAL facility where CEO Arvind Kumar, COO Jeam Luc Robert appraised him about the production process of commercial aircraft FALCON 2000. Kapoor informed DRAL officials that the occupancy certificate for existing hanger has been already given to DRAL and approval for the design of two new hangers has also been sanctioned.
The VC & MD also visited Future Supply Chain where he was briefed about the advanced warehousing facilities at FSC including the automated sorting system by zonal HR head Vipin Telgote. Kapoor also had a meeting with office bearers of Vidarbha Industries Association including president Suresh Rathi, secretary Gaurav Sarda, Kapoor informed that MADC is coming up with 72 nos. of small industrial plot to be lease out to MSME’s of the region which will provide an opportunity to the budding industrialists of the region. He also said that the order has already been given to MADC officials for repairing internal roads of MIHAN, to renovate the restrooms, repair the ceilings and exterior paint of Central Facility Building. He also interacted with the owners and senior officers of few prominent hotels of Nagpur regarding the availability of 6.8 acres of land to be lease out for five star hotel.
