Kashish Bhagat had recently won a silver medal in the 39th National Junior Group Athletics Championship held in Bhubaneswar in December 2024, and in the 20th National Youth Group 400m race held in Patna, she had finished fifth in the event, clocking 56.65, which was her best time so far. She had won a silver medal in the 600m race twice in the Inter-District-National Championship, and has won a gold medal in the 4 x 400m race twice in the School National Athletics Championship. She has achieved success in many state and national competitions so far, informed NDAA secretary Dr Sharad Suryawanshi.
Kashish is a student of Mahatma Gandhi English Medium High School and Junior College and has been guided by sports teacher Ramchandra Wani.
