The event aimed to empower students, especially young women, with essential self-defence techniques and strategies for personal safety. Dr. Janbandhu, with her vast experience in athletics and self-defence training, demonstrated practical techniques and shared valuable insights on situational awareness and confidence-building.

The program was conducted under the guidance of Prof. D. Y. Ghadge Sir and Dr. Jyotsna Gawai Dr. S R Ikhar, Dr. P D Khandait, Dr. A M Badar and Dr VP Varghese were also present on the occasion.

The session was highly interactive, with students actively participating and learning essential self-defence skills. The attendees expressed gratitude for the insightful program, which highlighted the importance of self-defence awareness in today’s world.
