The Centre of Excellence is equipped with the CORI Surgical System, an advanced robotic platform that supports surgeons in planning and executing joint replacement procedures with exceptional accuracy. The system enables real-time intraoperative guidance, allowing surgeons to customise procedures based on the patient’s unique anatomy and achieve optimal implant positioning.

The Centre will be led by Dr. Manoj Pahukar, Director – Joint Replacement, Arthroscopy & Complex Trauma Surgery at Max Hospital, Nagpur. Speaking on the launch, Dr. Manoj Pahukar, said, “Robotic-assisted surgery represents a significant advancement in orthopaedics. Patients suffering from severe knee arthritis, joint deformities, or chronic joint pain can now benefit from highly customised treatment plans that enable greater surgical precision, reduced blood loss, shorter hospital stays, and faster recovery.”
