Having taken a substantial 133-run first innings lead on Day 2, MSSC bowlers proceeded to dismantle Reshimbagh Gymkhana's batting line-up on the final morning. They succeeded in doing so as Reshimbagh folded for 183 runs in only 30 overs.

Once again, it was Shree Choudhary who, made 75 in the first innings, defied the MSSC attack with a splendid unbeaten 95. He got some much needed support from his skipper Kedar Jagtap who made 49. The duo added 104 runs for the second wicket, but Reshimbagh lost their last nine wickets for only 70 runs as MSSC skipper Mandar Mahale picked up five wickets for 42 runs.

MSSC knocked off the required 51 runs in only 9.1 overs to post an emphatic victory.

MSSC's Aman Mokhade, who made 256 in the first innings, was adjudged as the Player of the Match.
