After taking a 74-run first innings lead, MSSC piled up 309/6 before declaring their second innings, leaving MRCC with the onerous task of chasing 384 runs for victory.

It proved to be a tall order for MRCC and they folded for 174, leaving MSSC victorious. Sahil Sheikh (3/33) and Mandar Mahale (2/21) were the most successful bowlers.

MSSC skipper Mahale, who made 81 and 50 not out and also took four wickets for 57 runs in the match, was adjudged the Best Player.
