After amassing 381 runs in their first innings, MSSC bowlers dismissed Navniketan Cricket Club for a paltry 49 runs in 56.4 overs, thereby ensuring a massive 232-run lead. Pratham Maheshwari top-scored with 42 while Sahil Sheikh (3/29), Rahul Dongarwar (2/14), Avinash Jadhav (2/26) and Sooraj Rai (2/49) shared the wickets.

At close of play on Day 2 of the three-day match, Navniketan CC were 86/3 in their second innings after being forced to follow on. They still trail by 146 runs.
