The championship, organised under the aegis of the Badminton Association of India, will witness top veteran players from across the country competing at the highest level. Qualified players from Nagpur district include Manisha Bhawatkar and Manjiri Dhoke (women’s doubles 40 ). Jayendra Dhole (men's singles 45 ), Pinaki Mukharjee and Ajitha Ravindra (mixed doubles 50 ) and Sharad Mahajan (men’s singles 70 ).

All the above players earned their selection purely on merit through their outstanding performances in two Maharashtra State Selection Badminton Tournaments. Based on their best results, they secured their position in the main draw to represent Maharashtra at the All India Masters Championship.

This achievement highlights the growing strength of veteran badminton in Nagpur District and reflects the consistent competitive standards maintained at the state level.

The selected players were heartily congratulated and extended best wishes by MBA president Arun Lakhani, NDBA president Kundatai Vijaykar, MBA senior vice president Mangesh Kashikar, NDBA,vice presidents Anand Sancheti, Amit Bajaj, Shriram Purohit, joint secretary Bhavana Agrey; tournament & event secretary Anant Apte; coaching secretary Madhavi Kashikar Hedaoo, EC members Gurdeep Singh Arora, Neha Gosavi, Nikhil Rokde, Ashwin Harkare; and co-opt members Bhavesh Deshmukh and Sneha Faizpurkar.
