The organisers of the NAREDCO Vidarbha Cricket Premier League 1.0 (NVPL1.0) stated that the tournament has been designed not only to encourage competitive cricket but also to foster community engagement and provide an opportunity for young and aspiring cricketers to display their abilities on a bigger stage. The matches will have compulsory participation of Women players in each team. The event will include league-stage matches followed by knockout rounds leading to the grand finale, where the champion team will be crowned.

Nagpur mayor Neeta Thakre, MLC Krupal Tůmane , NMC standing committee chairperson Shivani Dani, transport committee chairperson Mangala Khekhre, leader of opposition Sanjay Mahakalkar will grace the opening function. union minister Nitin Gadkari, MLA Mohan Mate, MLA Krishna Khopde, MLC Adv Abhijit Wanjari will grace the prize distribution function A total of 12 teams will be playing in the tournament . The group 'A' include Vrindavan Tiles Challengers, Dwarka Bhoomiputras, Nirmay Shobha Warriors, Aakar Khetan XI, 5. KP Challengers and Decorista Super XI.

The group 'B' consists of Fire Fighters, Super Cops XI, MC Heights, Navin Nagpur Lions, Collector Super Kings and Jaguar XI. In addition to the championship trophy, individual awards such as best batsman, best bowler, best woman player, man-of-the-series, and many more will also be presented to recognise outstanding performances.
