Nagpur, May 25

The sky had been cloudy since morning on the first day of Navtapa. The maximum temperature dropped by 1.9 degree to 39.4 degree Celsius. However, despite clouds, the humidity level were quite low. While it was 39 percent in the morning, it reached 38 percent in the evening. But the feeling of sultry heat continued throughout the day. According to Meteorological Department, cyclonic storm ‘Yass’ is moving in the Bay of Bengal. Due to this, humidity has also entered Central India. This is also the reason for clouds. The Meteorological Department has forecasted rains and thunder storm on May 28 and 29. The mercury will remain around 40 to 41 degrees. In such a situation, it is clear that this time in Navtapa, there will not be a lot of heat. Akola was the hottest in Vidarbha with 41.8 degrees.
