Talking to media in Nagpur, Pande said, "Congress is contesting only on 70 seats in Bihar, but the positive effect of Rahul Gandhi''s personality will have an effect on the poll outcome. Rahul Gandhi, Tejashwi Yadva partnership is hit among youth and Congress has placed their confidence in youth power will nominating candidates for the election. On the other hand Nitish Kumar had not paid attention to trade and industry. Unemployment has increased. The Bihar elections and its results will be bellwether for the country, Pande added.

Nitish Kumar may join hands with UPA?

Nitish Kumar has become puppet in the hands of Chief Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah. He does not have any right and any authority to work. In this condition, Nitish Kumar might join hands with UPA. But, this would be decided after the poll results. Congress alliance will decided on that front. Speculating anything right now, is not appropriate, Pande clarified.
