The one-day tourney was organised by Roshan Chess Academy through the platform of Lichess.org. Nilay of Nagpur won the nine-round event with 7.5 points to his credit. He was followed by runner-up Suhan Deshpande of Nagpur with 7 points with a tie-break score of 42.25. Besides Suhan, Sumedh Ramteke and Jay Sawalakhe also ended up with similar 7 points under their belt but on the basis of better tie-break score, Suhan was adjudged as second while Sumedh had to be satisfied with the third spot. Jay secured the fourth spot. Best female prizes won by Krishna Taori of Nagpur and Shruti Kolhe of Chandrapur. Best Gadchiroli players prizes were claimed by Ajay Nimbalkar, Aayush Ainchwar, Soham Chilamwar and Rudresh Kohade. The prize money of Rs 3,000 was sponsored by chess lover Dr Adway Appalwar. In all, 82 Players from Amravati, Gadchiroli, Chandrapur, Wardha, Nagpur, Akola, Pune and Mumbai participated in the tournament. The time control was given 5 minutes plus 3 seconds increment from move 1 to all the players.

The tournament was conducted under the supervision of IA Deepak Chavan and SA Roshan Sahare.
