They defeated The Times of India team by four wickets. With this victory, Lokmat entered the Super Sixes. The tournament is being organized at the Vasantnagar ground of DNC.

After restricting TOI to 122 runs in 18 overs, Lokmat reached the winning target in 15.2 overs by scoring 125 runs for the loss of 6 wickets. Pataria was declared an of the match for taking eight wickets for 19 runs. Nitin Srivas took one wicket giving away 19 runs. For TOI, Harshit Kuthe top-scored with 74 runs in 46 balls, including 4 fours and 5 sixes, while Sandeep Dabhekar contributed 20 runs. Before Pataria's strike, other batsmen put the nail in the coffin.

In Lokmat's victory, Sharad Mishra contributed 38 runs in 23 balls with six fours and Sachin Khadke 22 runs in 19 balls with three fours.
