On the second day of the tournament at the basketball court of Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University, Phoenix secured a convincing win in the boys’ category. Riding on excellent performances from Ayush Chandel (18 ) and Jayesh Tambe (10), Phoenix defeated Shivaji Nagar Gymkhana (SNG) 47–16 (11-10, 17-2, 10-2, 9-2) to enter the quarterfinals. It was Phoenix’s second consecutive win in the tournament.

In another match, UBA thrashed SKM 52–6 (17-0, 8-2, 16-4, 11-0). Sahil Dhage scored 20 points and Swanand Jichkar added 17 points for UBA.

In the girls’ category, NBYS defeated NASA 63–14 (25-9, 17-2, 12-3, 9-0) by a huge margin to book a place in the semifinals with their second straight victory. Nishita Bakre (14) and Saisa Bhagat (13) delivered strong performances for the winners.

Meanwhile, the girls of Dharampeth Krida Mandal (DKM) beat Spartan 58–14 (28-8, 6-2, 16-2, 8-2) to strengthen their chances of progressing to the next round. Pankhudi Bade (18) and Netra Damke (14) played key roles in DKM’s victory.
