Post Covid OPD will start in health sub-centre, tehsil health centre and primary health centre from Tuesday for the people who defeated Covid-19. District collector Ravindra Thakare while guiding the health machinery through video conferencing instructed them to start special OPD from 11am to 1 pm for post Covid people.

Thakare said the district administration is ready for second wave of Covid pandemic though the number of infected patients is declining in the district day by day. It is being said that Covid-19 virus becomes more effective in winter. In view of the above issue, the district collector held straight talks with the responsible officers of the district. He also asked to increase the RT-PCR test and give pace to my family, my responsibility and my area my initiative campaigns. CEO of Zilla Parishad Yogesh Kumbhejkar, district surgeon Dr Devendra Paturkar, district health officer Dr DS Solkar, resident deputy district collector Ravindra Khazanchi, deputy district collector Sujata Gandhe, Avinash Katde, Ashish Bijwal. Shivnanda Langdapure, Vijaya Bankar, Ravindra Kumbhare and others were present on the occasion. During the talks, the district collector instructed the officers to motivate citizens for plasma donation, to know the condition of people who have been cured of Covid and to give necessary medicines to respiratory patients.

Govt considering to reopen schools, colleges

During this time it was said that the government is trying to start schools and colleges. In such a situation, the quarantine center prepared for Covid patients may have to be evacuated. For this, instructions were given to be ready to make alternative arrangements.
