In this eight-overs-a-side match, Sakal first restricted Deshonnati to 63 runs for five wickets. They then chased down the target in seven overs, losing just two wickets. For Sakal, man-of-the-match Pratik Wairagade played a brilliant unbeaten knock of 37 runs off 24 balls, hitting two fours and three sixes. Earlier, for Deshonnati, Samrat Gotekar (22 runs off 21 balls) and Shubham Borghare (21 runs off 16 balls) played fighting innings but both retired out. Sakal’s Nitin Baitule claimed two wickets, conceding just 11 runs.

NMC sports officer Piyush Ambulkar distributed the man-of-the-match prize.
