For the 14th consecutive year, defending champions RBI clinched the Inter-Team Championship, defeating Bank of India 3-0 in the final to complete yet another clean sweep.

RBI’s star paddler Aalhad Gunjal emerged as the standout performer of the tournament by winning the men’s singles title, defeating his teammate Sachin Gaur in a thrilling final 13-11, 8-11, 12-10. With this victory, Gunjal completed a double crown, having played a key role in RBI’s team triumph as well.

In the Women’s singles league matches, Tanushree Gupta (RBI) remained unbeaten throughout to clinch the title, while Snehal Wankhede (Bank of India) secured the runners-up position.

The prize distribution ceremony was attended by MSTTA secretary Adv. Ashutosh Potnis, NDTTA secretary Adv Akhilesh Potnis, bSC vice president Prafulla Nandedkar, secretary Ravi Joshi, nd joint secretary Tribhowan Meshram. Deepak Kanetkar officiated as the chief referee of the tournament and was ably supported by Neha Raut.

Team event final: RBI ‘A’ bt Bank of India 3-0 (Sachin Gaur bt Ashish Porkute 11-1, 11-4; Aalhad Gunjal bt Paresh Sutane 11-4, 11-4; PSV Sudhakar bt Vikrant Ghanokar 11-6, 11-2)

Men’s singles semis: Sachin Gaur (RBI) bt PSV Sudhakar (RBI) 11-9, 11-8; Aalhad Gunjal (RBI) bt Ronnield Francis (PNB) 11-6, 11-3.

Final: Aalhad Gunjal (RBI) bt Sachin Gaur (RBI) 13-11, 8-11, 12-10
