The tug-of-war teams of Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU) have left for the All India Inter-University Tug-of-War Championship to be held at Lamrin Tech Skill University in Punjab from April 5 to 9.

University’s tug-of-war teams were felicitated by acting director of the SDepartment of Sports and Physical Education Dr Vishakha Joshi. Secretary of Nagpur District Tug-of-war Association Dhairyasheel Sute, Javed Rahman, Vaibhav Pandhare, Suraj Suryawanshi, Prof Saurabh Chetule, Shubham Bhokare, Piyush Bhokare, Arpita Jalandar, Vinod Meshram and Narendra Chavan also wished the teams best luck for the championship.

Girls’ team includes: Anshu Borkar, Alia Arshia, Nilakshi Kumbhare, Sania Khan, Prachi Devdhagade, Pooja Sharma, Anshul Baseshankar, Khushi Bahadur, Palak Mahure, and Dnyaneshwari Ghodmore.

Boys’ team includes: Viraj Meher, Dwarkes Tadas, Karan Pethkar, Faraj Kazi, Faran Mansuri, Prajwal Sindoorkar, Mohammad Sarfaraz Ansari, Abhishek Sonawane, Aman Chaudhary and Praveen Kharole.
