In a keenly contested final, played at the S.B. City College Ground on Tuesday, SGR boys batted first and posted 215/9 in their allotted 50 overs. Yatharth Dhale top-scored with 53, while Siddharth Namsani (33), Anshuman Verulkar (33) and Mohd Umar Sheikh (31) chipped in with useful contributions. For the hosts, Gaurav Wani took three wickets for 30 runs.

S.B. City boys’ chase was anchored by Yajat Anturkar, who remained unbeaten on 75 off 109 balls with seven boundaries. He was involved in a match-winning partnership of 105 runs for the seventh wicket with Medhansh Goyanka (51).

The duo came together with the hosts in trouble at 107/6 in the 25th over but together they put their team on the road to victory.
