UCO Bank, after winning the toss, elected to bat and scored 147 for 4 in their allotted 20 overs. Milind Wankhede top-scored with 47 runs, while Swapnil Jivtode made 31 and Yogesh Paikrao added 17. For Shikshak Sahakari Bank Ltd, Girish Gadam, Girish Vithalkar and Sagar Trivedi picked up one wicket each, conceding 19, 16 and 30 runs respectively.
In reply, Shikshak Sahakari Bank Ltd chased down the target in just 13.2 overs, riding on a magnificent century by Makrand Shete. After scoring an impressive 81 runs in the opening match against union Bank, Shete once again delivered a fine performance, registering the first century of the tournament with 17 fours and 3 sixes. Girish Gadam (18) and Girish Vithalkar (17) were the other batsmen to reach double figures. For UCO Bank, Shilanand Gajbhiye and Milind Wankhede picked up a wicket each.
In another match, Combined Bankers XI continued their winning run, registering their second consecutive victory .
After winning the toss, Combined Bankers XI elected to bat and piled up an imposing total of 204 for 5 in the stipulated 20 overs. Himanshu Bhamburkar starred with a brilliant 69, while Devendra Gakre scored 29. Abhishek Chaudhary and Ashish Rathod contributed 25 runs each.
For union Bank, Ramteke, Kadukar and one other bowler claimed one wicket each.
In reply, union Bank were bowled out for 114 runs. Swapnil Mankar top-scored with 44, while Ashish Dahekar made 23 and Pratik Butolia added 18.
Sagar Rodi produced a sensational bowling spell, claiming 5 wickets for 18 runs, while Ashish Rathod supported him well with 2 wickets for 20 runs. Combined Bankers XI thus registered a comprehensive 90-run victory.
