Since the Corona cases have come down after strict lockdown-like restrictions in Maharashtra, the curbs have been relaxed in 21 districts having less than 10 per cent positive cases. The new relaxations will apply from June 1 to June 15 under the 'Break The Chain' initiative of the state government.

As per state government's directives the local administrations made an announcement in this regard. As per notification all the essential shops that are currently allowed to operate between 7 am and 11 am are now allowed to operate between 7 am and 2 pm.

.As kharif season is round the corner, the agricultural products shops will remain open till 5 pm. Apart from this, the shops selling rainy season accessories have been allowed to remain open. In 21 district essential commodities shops barring malls will remain open till 2 p.m. Takeaway service will remain open in hotels and restaurants.

Relaxation in these dists

Wardha, Gondia, Ahmadnagar, Solapur, Nashik, Mumbai, Thane, Bhandara, Buldhana, Hingoli, Gadchiroli, Palghar, Amravati, Nagpur, Jalna, Latur, Nandurbar, nanded, Washim, Yavatmal, Jalgaon, Dhule and Pune city.
