The kits for 26th T20 Inter-Press Cricket Tournament organised by Sports Journalists’ Association of Nagpur (SJAN) were distributed on Sunday at Vasant Nagar grouund.

The tournament will begin at the same venue on Tuesday with an inaugural match between defending champion Lokmat and Deshonnati at 8.30 am. Event manager of Rokde Jewellers Shubhangini Khedikar, assistant event manager Shripad Darbhe, principal of Jyotiba College of Physical Educaiton Dr Vijay Datarkar and social worker Sanjay Chinchole distributed the kits to the teams.

The annual cricket tournament for print media employees is being supported by Sports Karma, Rokde Jewellers, Sarangi Foundation Trust, and Sports Link. While Rokde Jewellers are the official clothing partners, Sports Link will be providing the Wisden white cricket balls for the smooth conduct of the tournament. Man of the match prizes for all the 19 matches are being sponsored in the memory of Gangadharrao Chinchole.

A total of nine teams including defending champion Lokmat, last year's runners-up Navbharat, The Times of India, Sakal, Tarun Bharat, Loksatta, Danik Bhaskar, Punyanagari and Deshonnati are taking part in the 26th edition of the tournament.
