Dronacharya Awardee Vijay Munishwar, while sharing his thoughts, said that sports play a significant role in fostering harmony and peace among different cultures and traditions across states and countries. He also shared his experiences from six Olympic Games in which he represented India.

Former Deputy Director of Sports, Government of Maharashtra, Dr. Jaiprakash Dubale, expressed that sports transcend barriers of caste, language, sect, and religion. Instead, they act as a bridge of social harmony even between nations.

It was also mentioned that due to conflicts and wars among nations, the Olympic Games had once been discontinued. Efforts were made to revive them by spreading awareness about the importance of sports and encouraging unity through games. Later, Pierre de Coubertin took the initiative and organized the first modern Olympic Games in 1896. He is regarded as the father of the modern Olympics.

On this occasion, swimmers who had achieved recognition in various competitions were felicitated. The guests were welcomed and thanked by Shiv Chhatrapati awardee Jayant Dubale.
