On the second day of the competition today, Swara Hivse of the local Rising Sprinters Club won a silver medal with a time of 46.64 seconds. The gold medal was won by Arena Iyer from Mumbai Suburban, who completed the race in 45.33 seconds, while Krishika Bangera from Mumbai City claimed the bronze medal with a time of 46.96 seconds.

In the 4 × 100 meter relay, the team finished in sixth place. Another athlete from Nagpur, Lavanya Shendre, finished fourth. In the shot put event of the same age group, Ojasvi Wade secured seventh place.

In the Under-8 boys’ category, Shri Revatkar had to be content with sixth place in the 100-meter race, while his teammate Maitriyi Manputra finished seventh in the standing broad jump, informs NDAA secretary Dr Sharad Suryawanshi.

Swara Hivse trains under the guidance of NIS coach Shamsher Khan. Congratulating Swara on her performance were Nagpur District Athleitcs Association president Gurudev Nagarale, along with Umesh Naidu, Nagesh Sahare, Shekhar Suryavanshi, Ravindra Tong, Jitendra Ghoradadekar, Dr. Sanjay Chaudhary, Ramchandra Wani, Archana Kottewar, Dr. Vivekanand Singh, Chandrabhan Kolte, Dr. Brijmohan Rawat, Kamlesh Hinge, Rajesh Bhute, Umakant Sangode, Gajanan Thakre, Amit Thakur, and others.
