The tournament is organised by Dharampeth Krida Mandal under the aegis of Nagpur District Basketball Association.

The tournament which attracted 13 boys and 6 girls teams was inaugurated by Shankar nagar Corporator Vinay Dani. On the occasion, DKM founder Mohan Ghai, secretary Ravindra Kulkarni, Anup Rajurkar, Samir Shrivastava, Dhiraj Kadao, Ashish Bhide, Prashant Sonewane and others were present.

All the participating players were given attractive gifts.

In the opening match, hosts DKM defeated Phoenix 20-8 with Advik Waghmare emerging as the top scorer with 12 points and Agrim Karandikar netted 10 points. For phoenix, Om Bhagat scored four points. In the girls game, DKM defeated PLSC 12-0 with Ovi Pande scored all the 12 points.

In a low-scoring boys game, Spartan edged out SNG 8-7. For the winners, Hitansh Waghaye scored four points. For SNG, Parth J netted four points. The boys outfit of PKM rode on the heroics of Tarvik Bhongade’s six points to outclass UBA 8-2. In the girls section, Anaya Patil scored all the 15 points as NASA got the better of NSCA 15-6.

A total of 21 league and 10 knockout matches will ne played in the four day tournament.
