The cyber criminals have duped two people and siphoned off money from their accounts. The cyber thiefs stole `1.83 lakhs from one account and `75,000 from another. After receiving the complaint, the Ambazari and Ajni police have registered a complaint under the IT Act of cheating. The complainant live in Ambazari area. They got a call on June 16 around 12 noon regarding Paytm KYC and sent them a link to download ''AnyDesk'' app. As soon as the person downloaded the app, the criminals withdrew `1.85,519 from his account. As soon as the person realised about the cheating, he rushed to the cyber cell and lodged a complaint. The Ambazari police has registered a case of cheating.

Ajni man cheated of `75K

The cyber criminals used the same trick and cheated another man of `74,754 between October 14 & 15. The Ajni police has registered a case of of cheating against the person on Saturday.
